BRECON BEACONS, VIEW 3
And here is the third view we have for you. We
hope shortly to be out and about taking some more
snaps of the area to include in this section of
the Gallery. We intend also to add some pictures
from other areas of the National park, such as the
Black Mountain in the West, the Black Moutains in
the East, and the waterfall area of Fforest Fawr
to the South. As the National Park covers an area
of some 519 sq miles, there should be plenty of
scope ! We also hope to include some wildlife
pictures and information. We are very lucky in
that our area is rich in many species of furry and
feathered friends, the most notable of which is
possibly the regal Red Kite, a rare bird which is,
happily, becoming an increasingly familiar sight
once again after facing near extinction just a few
years ago.
