THE INTERNET: A TURNKEY SOLUTION

So How Do I Start And What's Involved ?

Initial Web Content

The first thing to do is to convert your existing marketing material into a Web document for the Internet. We would recommend that a first stage might be to take an existing brochure and convert that. We can do this for you and our price for converting, say, a typical four sided A4 brochure would be £499.
Setting up a location for your pages
We would recommend that we set up a site on the Internet for you with a site name of www.yourcompany.co.uk so that you have a specific Internet identity and a place to put your Web material. To do this you will need to purchase a domain name. The cost of a domain name is £150 plus the registration fee. Once you have the name we can set up the web site of www.yourcompany.co.uk. The initial charge for setting this up is £150. If you already have a domain name, we would transfer it to our server and you would only pay the site set up fee.

On Going Charges

Web Storage

The charge for storing your Web pages is £25 per month per 5 Mb of space used. This is a minimum charge and extra space will be charged at £5 per Mb of space per month.

Indexing and Promoting your Pages
We will initially index your Website with the major Search Engines at a cost of £80. This will allow people looking for your type of services or products to find your pages. We would also recommend that you update the indexes every month. We can perform this process for you at a cost of £20 per hour and this would typically be 2 hour's worth of indexing work a month.

Email Connection
For each connection to the Internet we charge a £20 setup charge and thereafter a cost of £15 per month. A maximum of five emails are included in the price of each connection. Connection price also includes all the software that you require to access the Internet, and ongoing access will be at local call rates wherever you are located. If you require extra emails then we charge one pound a month for each email in excess of the basic five.

Updating Web Content
We will make small changes to the content of your pages at no charge as long as there is under 15 minutes work per month. Any major changes can be quoted for but for a guideline is that any modifications taking longer than the initial 15 minutes per month will be charged at an hourly rate of £30 per hour.

Web Stats
We can provide a monthly breakdown of the number of people who have accessed your web site and which pages they have visited. We charge £10 a month for this service. This allows you to monitor the numbers of accesses to each particular web page and to assess the success of each part of your site accordingly.

An Example
To give an idea of the costs of setting up a Web site, let's take an example involving a small to medium size company. We'll say the company wants initially just to convert their existing brochure material for Web use but will then want to add more material, gradually, over the year. They also want one login and five email addresses, one being admin@company.co.uk with four staff each having their own login of name@company.co.uk.
